When I was little, my mother gave me a box of scrap fabric to play and told me "just think of all the things you can make." I had so much fun making clothes for my dolls. I felt like a fairy god mother. Turning waste into worth was like making "magic". To this day, some thirty-odd years later, my obsession lives on.
