Hang in there! It may only be Wednesday but the weekend is coming and if you happen to be in the US you have an extra-long weekend hanging on the horizon. Hanging on my door is one of my favourite wreaths. I found it at the Reuse centre (for free I might add!) and the simplicity of the red berries just melts me. Simple and natural... you just can't go wrong!

A few little pumpkins are all you need to add a little pop of Fall to your mantel, sideboard, or shelf. I picked these 4 up for a total of $6 and when paired with my old bread bowl and some free berries and leaves they look perfectly Fallish. Decorating doesn't have to cost you a fortune! Use what you can from nature and if you spend on anything, spend on something with a big impact.

With Halloween just a week away are you planning anything special or will it be different this year for you and your family? The candy shute (a long tube attached to a railing) is one of my favourites so far.

I love bringing the outdoors in at any time of year but there is something special about Fall that makes me want to use all sorts of organic things in my decor. Pumpkins, apples, leaves, berries, gourds... you name it. It is all so pretty and makes the shorter Fall days seem less dreary don't you think?
