It has been 4 years since I moved from my native country, Brazil, and 1 year since I proudly became a permanent resident of this amazing country called Canada. I join the team with 20 years of experience in business administration, customer service and accounting. I am a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, Spanish, and hope to learn French soon. My hobby is volunteering for TED translators, taking road trips and visiting the wonderful parks around BC. What's your role at RecycleSmart? Responsible for overseeing the billing operation of RecycleSmart, working in collaboration with the accounting team to ensure customers are billed correctly and under the expected deadline. My department is a fast-paced high-volume transaction-processing hub which requires expertise in billing data analysis and time management skills. What made you want to be a Smartian? I wanted to work for a company that works in favor of the environment and RecycleSmart carries that responsibility in its mission and values. Despite the pandemic, it kept growing which makes me feel secure and motivated to be a part of its success.

I was born and raised in Vancouver but spent 5 years of my life in Southern California. I worked mostly in HR in the Hospitality industry.
