Have you had a service with me and would like to leave a review? Here’s the link below! Why are reviews important? They help me understand what your experience and service was like. Whether good or bad it gives me constructive feedback on what I need to keep doing, or what I need to embrace and correct. It also helps new clients researching my business if they would like to come see me too. I mean, who doesn’t want to come and have a relaxing time with a few laughs? Am I rig...ht!? I love and appreciate anyone who takes the time out of their day to do this. Thank you https://g.page/r/CRl5L228fkh4EBM/review

Reposted from @dermdoctorreacts This is a great example of lid ptosis and also a very educational video from this dermatologist. Go to my previous post to learn about tox treatments :) #cosmeticinjectables #ygksmallbusiness #ygklove #ygknurseinjectors #kingstonontario

Have you ever wondered how botulinum toxin (aka tox) cosmetic injections work? I consult I teach you and educate you about the product, how it works, how I assess your face and for what, your medical history to determine if your a good candidate, what dosing you’ll require based on the strength of your muscles or areas of concern. What are the risks? Some of the risks we go over are allergic reaction, brow ptosis (dropping a brow), or eyelid ptosis. I’ll be posting a video... of eye lid ptosis next so keep an eyeout for that. Too soon? Lol I’m just kidding. Eyelid ptosis is temporary and will wear off just the same as the rest of the face would. If this should happen we can prescribe you eye drops to help open the eyelid more while the medication wears off. While it isn’t painful, it is annoying and inconvenient. Getting cosmetic injections is a team effort. I do my part to teach you and educate you in all things to do with your treatment, use my knowledge skill and judgement to properly place the product, and more. We especially cover after care. Once you leave my office it’s up to you to do the after care to ensure best results. A few aftercare instructions include no laying down or leaning over for at least 4 hours, no touching your face (if that’s where treatment occurred), no itching, no makeup, no hats/headbands, no saunas/hot tubs or anything that will raise body temp and get blood flowing. Yes that includes exercise/working out and sex. No aspirin, or other blood thinners, etc as stated above we go over all of this thoroughly in consult and again at the end of your appointment to ensure you understand. I find tox very interesting and love learning all the ways it can be used! Pretty magical thing actually. Fun fact: Did you know urologists can use Botox to help an overactive bladder? Pretty cool eh?! #themoreyouknow #ygksmallbusiness #ygklove #ygkbusiness #ygkentrepreneur #kingstonontario #kingstoninjections #nurseinjector

The amount of DM’s an injector gets from potential clients inquiring about treatments and rates is more than you can imagine. I totally understand that it may seem like this is the most efficient way to get a quick answer. However, I cannot efficiently, and ethically give advise about a medical procedure over IG message. I need to assess you, see how your muscles move, your anatomy, overall health etc. This isn’t to say you can’t or shouldn’t message me, please feel free! But... if it does pertain to anything to do with how many units or syringes your may need, pricing etc I will ask you to book a consult. This is also me setting a professional boundary, consults are free and meant to be a time block where you have my undivided attention. Choosing to not answer these same questions via dm is me setting a healthy work life balance. When I’m not at work I am dedicating my time and attention to myself and my family, just the same as everyone else. And consults are fun! We get to know each other, laugh and I love helping you! #ygk #ygklove #ygkentrepreneur #ygkbusiness #kingstonontario #ygksmallbusiness #ygkwomeninbusiness #kingstoninjections #kingstoninjector
