Position: Operations Manager Requirements: Reporting directly to the General Manager Supervise trades employees and sub-contractors... Along with the General Manager, coordinate sales and service work for local residential, commercial and First Nations communities (north and south of Red Lake). Along with the General Manager, liaise with business owners, commercial customers, Chiefs and Councils, Tribal Councils, Independent Consultants, government departments and their appointed agents for the purpose of relationship building and growing the business. Along with the General Manager, bid on annual maintenance contracts, new construction, sub-contract work. Prepare estimates for emergency and ongoing repair work. Coordinate travel and accommodations required. Submit all paperwork for invoicing along with profit/loss analysis or other ad hoc reports. Fulfill all reporting requirements of the customer. Travel to jobsites for the purpose of monitoring safety and quality and communicate with the employees and customer. Maintain vendor relationships and work to ensure preferred pricing and delivery of goods. Abide by the Mission, Values and Goals of the Company. Abide by all Health & Safety and all other policies of the Company as well as regulations legislated in the Province of Ontario. Jointly with the Finance Manager, maintain safety and training records and manage several web-based customer data sites to ensure compliance. Under the direction of the General Manager and jointly with the Finance Manager, account for all assets of the company including vehicles, inventory and equipment and ensure all additions and disposals are properly vetted and recorded. Jointly with the Finance Manager, perform shipping and receiving for parts as well as track warranty claims. Keep all office documentation secure and confidential. Work cooperatively with trades and provide all supporting functions as needed. Joint with the Finance Manager, supervise customer service and or data entry and employees or contractors.
