Eagle Valley Brush & Palette Club 04.12.2020

Here is your information from Rita regarding this Friday's class (Oct 23rd). We will be doing small Christmas-tree decorations. What we will need: 1. Acrylic paint (your favorite Xmas colors and any glitter paint ) We also have some in our storage at the Red Barn. And we will share.... 2 Your acrylic brushes. 3. Scissors 4. Any water color paper, scraps, big and small, if paper is alreary painted, it's OK, we will paint over. 5. Tracing paper. (we will share) 6. Tablecloth. 7. Q-Tips for some shading 8. Glue 9. And anything that will look ''Christmassy'' and fun. It will be a ''funshop''. Hope to see you all on Friday.

Bring your sketch books or drawing/painting paper is you want to do some practice drawings & sketches this Friday July 12.

24th May Own creation 31st May we will be creating our own sketch books, and using them at Betty's place (10 - 3), 1426 Boutwell Rd, Sicamous. Amy and Carol will be producing a lunch for us. Bring cardboard covers (cereal boxes ie.) and some unique paper you may will to add. Pam will be bringing some extra paper and the plastic coil makings for the sketch book. Please bring $2 towards the cost of the book. And don't forget your pencil or pen to do your sketching of pla...nts, implements, buildings or whatever on that day. June 7th: Karen will be leading us in sketching exercises. June 14th: Possible acrylic pour. Need to check if we can leave the canvases to dry over night there. We have extra canvases. June 21st: As we now have supplies for hanging your paintings for the art show, bring your paintings to have D rings and wire placed on them. The cost per painting (all sizes same cost) will be $2. And don't forget we have the stapler to hold paintings in. June 26th Bring paintings in 3 - 5 pm. to Red Barn. June 27th: Come at 9 am to set up art show. Items requiring tables: jewelry, cards, glass ware, etc. please bring in 11 - 12. Quilters can hang their creations on the stage anytime. We will be using the acrylic pour canvases around the front of the stage, and they will be placed there upon bringing in for display. Meet the Artist night from 7 - 9 pm. June 28th - July 3rd Art Show, overseen by members. A schedule will be put on the fridge to be filled in, please.
