This is Michelle. She's a #TRCSoberHero and a wonderful member of the #RedBicycleCom team. You may recognized Michelle from all the #SoberSeptember marketing materials out there. That's because she's proud to represent change for the mental health and addiction community (and social distancing might have also helped her score that spot. ) In Michelle's own personal struggles with anxiety and depression, she knows the difference an organization like the Thorpe Recovery Centre... can make. She wants to bring awareness to addictions and mental health disorders while supporting a wonderful organization from my community. For the month of September, Michelle will be giving up caffeine. A daily drink of delicious coffee is something she has come to depend on to wake her up, warm her up and assist her in starting a new day for years now. Not only does she enjoy it first thing in the morning but you will also find her emptying our office coffee pot at three in the afternoon. By challenging herself to give up something she enjoy so much, Michelle hopes she can bring awareness to addiction and raise some money doing it! What are your desktop essentials while working from home? . . We love a big calendar so we can keep focused and on top of our to-do lists and deadlines, and of course, treats! :)

It’s starting to feel like spring! Nature is so inspirational when it comes to design and we can’t wait to see what will inspire us this spring.

While we may not be able to attend awesome professional development events like this, there is a lot of opportunity right now for online learning. What have you discovered?

We may of snuck back to the office to stock up on our fuel.

This is relevant to our creativity here at Red Bicycle but also relevant for all those at home right now. Our vivid imaginations help us to form new ideas and concepts. Imagination is a crucial thought process in our toolbelt here at Red Bicycle but it is also going to be an important piece for all of us while dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Home Sweet Work Like many of you, we’ve been working from home for a while now. Doing our part to flatten the curve and protect ourselves and our community from the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s taken a while getting used to not seeing our amazing crew everyday, but with today’s technology we are still connected and either text, video chat or call everyday We’re also working with all our amazing clients (and potential new ones) via video conferencing to keep them safe too. We are so proud of you Lloydminster for taking the necessary steps to help fight this pandemicWhether it’s having your staff work from home, social-distancing or self-isolating, and more that’s amazing. Keep that up The more we all pitch in and make small sacrifices the better (and shorter) this will get. So from all of us at Red Bicycle, thank you so much!

Wondering who is behind the scenes at Red Bicycle? Meet Randi, our Account Coordinator. I have enjoyed working at Red Bicycle since I joined the team this pass October. I have had the opportunity to connect with past clients from over a decade ago and catch up on life and business. It has a been a breath of fresh air to step in to the role of Account Coordinator, and I have enjoyed the process of meeting with clients, learning their vision, and helping them create a brand ...that reflects them and their business. This process is so much more than just ‘making a logo’, every detail that goes into it is just as important as the next, and I am so grateful to get the chance to be involved in the building blocks of our community. Local businesses are the backbone of our city, and I am thrilled to not only be employed with one but work hand in hand with several. As much as I love working here so far as a whole, my favourite part is being able to bring my dogs in for the day.

Communication and societal behaviours are constantly changing and advancing, we have to keep up with the times and I absolutely love it! I know I'm very fortunate to work with clients and a team I enjoy and I can't wait to see what else is to come for us."
