Mom says I have to do more table time. Do not know why she thinks i need to stand on a table but I am getting better at it. <3

busy day today. Buddly finally learned how to jump up on my chair. Ivy is not impressed because to was her place to get away from him. They also got for the very first time a bully stick. It was a big success.

Mom says that I have to start having table time so I will be ready for Show time with Lu-Anne Clark - Hogel Not happy but she made me stand there until i stopped shaking. She says we will be doing this at least 3 tomes a day.

Introducing the newest member of our family. Rockalily's Othello At Redbrant - call name Buddy. Thank you to Lu Lu-Anne Clark - Hogel for trusting me with this beautiful little boy. Lu-Anne will be showing him this spring for me.

Update : Obi went to the vet this afternoon and he got a spectacular clean bill of health. He only needs a new place now to lay his beautiful head Obi the han...dsome, happy active boy is still (visiting) with us. He would be happier visiting someone else. He is just turned a yr old. Obi was kept orginally to show and add to our breeding program. I like my boys to be a bit on the smaller size and he is right at the top of the standard at 11". Obi is fully vaccinated, leash trained, crate trained (sleeps quietly all night), car trained, he was house trained till he arrived here with a house of intact dogs, both male and female. One of the females was in season. He figured out he was a teenage boy! I'm sure he will be back to properly house trained once he is not around the girls! He walked into our home and fit in with our pack immediately. He waited patiently for his meal which I set down among the others as they all eat together. He never had any aggression at all at meal time. Very polite young pup. He plays well with his half sibling Harmony and with Whiskey, the two younger ones in the house. Parents fully health tested. Obi will never have an issue with any of the genetic issues tested by DNA. He has his bag packed with toys, harness, leash, dremel, shampoo, cream rinse, winter coat, sweater and boots. He has a bowl of treats and beef liver sprinkle for his food. He has a bag of food ready. He also has a crate pad and a very soft blanket. He is such a happy boy and he would do well with a job to do. He is rather active. His owners started him on some basic obedience also. including some clicker training by his attention to a pen being clicked. Obi will be CKC registered on a non breeding agreement. He is a "slight" bit more than a new puppy and his price reflects all the vetting, the new transfer to a new owner, training put in by his owners. All will be refunded to his owner minus my expenses of vetting and CKC fees which is minimal. I do not know which is worst. In the morning when there is no one to say good morning and get a morning hug from OR in the evening when no one is sitting on my knee driving me crazy. Oh how i miss you Mia. Hope you are having fun running around at the Rainbow Bridge. At least now you are not in pain. <3

Just going over my books. In 15 yrs. Redbrant Papillons has had 28 litters / 78 pups/ never had anyone return a pup. We have been lucky and had a good run. The last two years have been hard on us. Covid 19 prices, emergency c sections, trying to find a good stud dog from other breeders. 3 in total and not one turned out to be good for our breeding program. We strive for healthy happy pups. At least i can say that i have never let some one else take the fall for my... dogs that did not pass health testing for breeding. Breeding and showing is not for everyone. It takes money and a good heart. I still say a good breeder is not a business person but instead some one who cares more for their dogs then the money. I am having some bad days adjusting to no dogs except Mia, but i know in my heart that i did the right thing. Thank you all of my Redbrant Family and please keep the photos and updates coming. They make my day knowing that they are all in such good and loving homes. See more

Today I lost my best friend. Way to young. Only 7. She has had health issues ever since she was poisoned 5 years ago. Today the poison won. I loved her. She was the best and most loving dog. Fly free my Mia. No more pain for you. but I have a big hole in my heart.
