Well, we had great fun setting up the exhibition at Round Hill Gallery in Annapolis Royal! The show runs until the 10th September. For everybody who would like to see the exhibition but are too far away I aim to post a few images every couple of days for you all to enjoy on-line.

We are thrilled to have a show starting tomorrow at the Round Hill Gallery in Annapolis Royal. Cleaning the car of three months of accumulated dog grime before we load it with all the artwork LOL. Really excited to be having our first show together....hopefully we are still talking afterwards!!

This is just a practice piece for the larger hummingbird drawing that I am currently working on. After all those needles I wanted to make sure I got the hummingbird right!!

Progress shot of my current work - and it is testing my patience!! 'Pine needles, haven't tried those before, it'll be fun' I thought 3,500 down, only another 2,550 to go. Once finished it will be a setting for a male hummingbird.

Just finished this little guy - "Yearling". Dropped him off at Winding River Art Gallery, Stewiacke, yesterday! Hope he gets some love and attention!

I came across this gate in a garden centre and loved the simple mechanism and the patina on the metal and wood. Had to draw it! It seemed the perfect setting for this black and white warbler.

Thought I'd try something new and play around with some backgrounds techniques. Lots of fun and lots to learn!
