Good morning everyone. Just want to let everyone know what is happening with the Little Caesars fundraiser with this message from Sam. I am not exactly sure why the online ordering is already closed. This weekend is the US Thanksgiving so I am unable to talk to anyone about this. For paper ordering, I would like everyone to just hold on to the order form and cash until I am able to sort this out and place the orders. I am not sure when this will be, but as soon as I know I... will update you. Thank you for your patience on this. See more

Just a quick reminder that cut off is tomorrow! As we will not be back on deck, we will not be at the armory to collect your money and forms. Please contact Sam by email at [email protected] or by phone at 403-396-0224 so she can set something up with you to collect them. Thank you for your support!!!

We would like to remind everyone that our AGM is tomorrow night! Covid protocols will be in place and followed. Two especially to note: we must sign in upon entering the building, and wearing a mask when we can't physically distance (please bring your own.) We would very much encourage all the parents of our cadets to attend this important meeting. We need all the help and new ideas we can get! Hope to see you all there!

Hello All I hope everyone is safe and healthy during these unprecedented times! To commemorate the 125 years of the Navy League of Canada, I have designed the N...avy League Corpsopoly Board Game. Not only is it a board game, it is also a training aid which demonstrates to our cadets all of the Cadet and Officer ranks, all of the cadet Trade Badges and a historical listing of researched Navy League Cadet and Wrenette Corps since 1948 till present. The corps names can be found on the game board. The game will also consist of custom-made player tokens, and game pieces. Please note: in order to have the game produced there has to be a minimum of 500 games pre-sold and paid for. The cost of the game is $40.00 plus the purchaser will also be responsible for the shipping cost to their chosen address or they can pick up in Cobourg. If you are interested in purchasing a game, you can send an email To: [email protected] By Monday October 12, 2020 an order form of commitment will be created and emailed to those who send an enquiry to [email protected]. Please note the production time is 4 to 5 weeks once the 500 games have been pre-sold and paid for. Shipping cost will be determined when the games arrive in Cobourg, Ontario to your applicable address. Let’s get this board game and training aid into the hands of our cadets, branches, corps, and it also will make a great Christmas Gift for past and present cadets. Thank you for your interest and support for this Navy League Corpsopoly Board Game and Training Aid. The game has been approved by The Navy League of Canada LT (NL) M. Michael Pigeon See more

Well we received our checklist back this morning for starting up in-person training and have been approved! I would like to remind everyone our excitement to ge...t back and together again is to provide a fun, safe and exciting atmosphere to meet new friends, develop new skills and grow as individuals and as a team. We want to avoid becoming a Vector for COVID-19. If for any reason you feel ill or someone in your household, just call us and let us know you will be unable to attend. You will not be penalized for keeping yourself and your shipmates safe. Calling in though allows us to know where you are and know you are safe. For your information before attending: 1. Current cases from Alberta Health Services site for Central Alberta: 19 Active Cases 2. We will be cleaning our classrooms after every period and hand sanitizer will be available at each entrance and all around the armories 3. Our classroom capacities will be posted and with our cadets we can easily meet these capacities without hindering safety or learning 4. We will have two tables set up tonight at the Garage Doors to allow Returning Cadets/families to complete any paperwork safely on one side of the door then any families coming to register for the first time will have a seperate table on the other end so we can welcome you in, get some paperwork going and introduce you all to the program. 5. Due to the limit of 50 people in the building we would like to prioritize new families to tour the building, meet the staff and see what the program is about. If any returning parents/guardians have questions or concerns that they would like addressed or to talk to any staff member, feel free to send us an e-mail: [email protected] and we can schedule a meeting. Cadets Remember: 1. Before coming please perform a self-assessment: https://myhealth.alberta.ca//Pa/COVID-Self-Assessment.aspx 2. Bring a non-medical mask to wear 3. Bring a snack/water bottle. We will not be running a canteen this year and the water fountain will only be used to fill water bottles 4. Drag your parents over with you to Verify the information we have for you and check for any other paperwork needing complete 5. Bring your own pens and notebooks 6. Do the best to dress the best you can! If you have grown or shrunk since March, bring any uniform parts you need exchanged! Thanks!
