Click here to listen to our second service sermon on "The Justice of God." God is just in all his ways. He is just in requiring obedience. He is just in punishing for disobedience. And praise God that, he is just in our salvation. Praise God that, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, through faith in Christ!

Far from being a boring and irrelevant list of things to do and people to say hi to at the end of 1 Corinthians, chapter 16 is all about walking in love and unity in the body of Christ in light of Christ's resurrection. Click below to listen to our morning sermon on how we demonstrate love and unity in the body of Christ in giving to others, visiting others and receiving others. We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).

Today we began a new sermon series on 1 Peter. In this sermon we begin to meditate on Peter's opening greeting in 1 Peter 1:1-2. Here we see that Peter encourages persecuted Christians with their identity in Christ as elect exiles. Listen and be encouraged as well!

On November 15, 1995, representatives of 42 independent Reformed churches gathered in Lynwood, IL to take steps toward organizing a new confessionally Reformed ...federation (i.e. denomination). At this meeting, the representatives resolved "That this federation be based on God's Holy Word as confessed in the Three Forms of Unity and the Church Order of 1934..." This new federation would become know as the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA). This Sunday, November 15, 2020 we celebrate 25 years of God's faithfulness to our young federation of churches. Peace URC is blessed to be a part of the work that God is doing in the URCNA! Soli Deo Gloria!

Click below to listen to our morning sermon on 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 and look forward to the return of Christ! When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.... O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:54-57)
