Minerals Play Fairway would help identify areas with sinkhole potential. The sinkhole in Oxford was a reminder of how important geoscience is to protecting Nova Scotians and our infrastructure. Minerals Play Fairway would also help find underground water sources. Increasing our knowledge of Nova Scotia aquifers would help improve water management, especially given potential impacts on our water supply caused by climate change.
