You are all invited to Red Ravens PAS first Annual General Meeting, this Sunday, Sept 20th, 2020 at 2pm, Holy Trinity Church Hall. (Downstairs) In accordance with our By-laws the first board will be stepping down so MEMBERS can vote or nominate for available roles. Board positions: President, Vice-president, Treasurer, Secretary, 2+ members at large.... We will be able to welcome new members, and complete membership renewals on this day as well. Hello everyone, We hope you've all been having a great summer, despite the Topsy-turvy world these days. This is a formal notice of our first Annual General Meeting, which will be held Sunday, Sept 20th, 2020 at 2pm, at the Holy Trinity Church Hall. (Located Downstairs)... We will be reviewing finances from the year/annual reporting, talking about past, present and future projects, as well as electing a new board. In accordance with our By-laws the first board will be stepping down so that the members have an opportunity to vote and/or put themselves forward for the available roles. Board positions to be filled include President, Vice-president, Treasurer, Secretary, and 2-4 members at large. We will be able to welcome new members, and complete membership renewals on this day as well. If you know of anyone interested in learning more about us, or becoming a member, let them know about this upcoming meeting. If you have topics for discussion that you'd like to see on the agenda, or would like to become a member in advance of the AGM please reach out to Lisa or Nikki at [email protected] or contact us on our Facebook Page. Also, note that we will be social distancing as much as possible within the hall, but recommend that everyone bring a mask/face covering in case we cannot maintain adequate distance between folks. It's a long time between now and December, but with all the uncertainty in the world, we've chosen to establish our talent pool well in advance, to allow flexibility to work with, through, and around potential obstacles this year. You wont have to worry about extensive scheduling around rehearsals this summer, we promise! We just want to ensure a foundation of talent prior to the summer chaos. Send a message for more details. Always looking for new talent, for now but also for next year’s production. These will be the last auditions for this year. Don’t just think about it! Jump right in and join the fun.

How about that lock-down we've been having? Are you excited to get out and about more? I know we sure are. We've decided we are going to be doing another December Fundraiser Show, which will be in a similar vein to last year's Hollywood Comes to the Mountains, but with a new twist. (More details on that for a later date! Including Fundraising Nominees) For now we are announcing Auditions: ... Looking for the following to complete this ensemble: Band members - Guitarist, bassist, Synth, Trombonist Solid vocalists Comedic actors We also will be looking for help with technical and stage crew, as well as many other vital roles behind the scenes. Not everyone will be able to be onstage, but we will include everyone who wants to be involved, in some way. Many hands make light work, after all. Key production team roles that we would like to gather expressions of interest for include: Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Hair and Makeup Team Lead, Marketing (graphic design, posters, tickets, and promotional materials). Those who audition will receive an information package, which will include safety protocols that will be in place. 2) If we cannot have a live show with an audience, due to Covid-19, we plan to utilize a combination of live video feeds and prerecorded material to share the show.
