Red Rock Amps

Sadly, today I’m announcing that I’m shutting down Red Rock Amps and will not be accepting any new gear for service as of February 1st. Those customers that have been here know that I work out of my home which is on a large lot, located in a rural setting. Due to a combination of age (70 years) and issues with a chronic back problem, I can no longer maintain this property. So in the coming year, my wife and I are looking to sell and move to a condo. Over the next two months, ...I’ll clean up the back log of amps already here for service, and then start preparing for the move this summer. Ideally, I’d like to carry on servicing amps, but I cannot service amps out of a condo. Financially, it does not make sense to set up a standalone brick and mortar business, so I’m thinking that if I could find an existing music related business that would have the space to accommodate a repair shop and take me in, it would be ideal. So if anyone has any ideas of where I could co-locate in Winnipeg, let me know. If I cannot find a solution, I’ll sell off my parts inventory and hang up the soldering iron (and it’s been a good run). Larry
