Today we reflect and remember those that fought for our safety. We enjoy a free society in Canada and in many cases this is because of our brave warriors. Our family has a strong history with Army Cadets. Many of my friends were in Navy or Army cadets. We have friends that served in our Armed Forces. Even at the most basic participation there is a sense of honour and respect for the role they play in our lives. We remember them every day of the year but today we stop for a... moment of silence and give them a moment that’s just for them and their sacrifice. Thank you for all you do for us! Just a heads up: Canadian Tire has 20L pail go hand sanitizer! We bought these dollar store bottles of lotion that we can reload for sanitizer for our employees. I wanted to share with our customers that you can do the same if you’d like! ... If you need one of these delivered we won’t charge you a deliver fee. Let’s all stay safe and healthy together!

We’d like to remind customers that we’re open and operating like normal during this crazy time! COVID-19 has changed how we interact with customers for the time being. We’re taking it very seriously and doing everything we can to keep our employees safe and healthy. By doing that we should be doing our part to keep our customers safe and healthy as well. We need you to come to work so we can come to work! We’re all essential! (Please excuse the tongue and cheek meme. A litt...le laugher right now could go a long way. I’ve said for years to always make people smile. You never know who you’ll save with a smile.) Hopefully you’re able to distance at work and some can work from home. We’re asking customers to please only let 1 person come to our trucks/vans per delivery. Any additional personnel that aren’t necessary for the delivery will be asked to kindly carry on so we can limit exposure and practice social distancing. We won’t be getting signatures right now on our waybills. We’ll be asking for the full name of the personnel that receives the freight. We’ll write it on the waybill ourselves while keeping our distance. Please don’t be offended if our staff decide to wipe something down before they touch it. This may or may not happen. They’ve been given permission to take any measures they feel necessary to stay safe and healthy. You may also see our staff wearing respirators. We’ve given our staff many options to protect themselves. We may add additional changes as needed. Thank you for understanding! We understand that our customers are also taking steps to stay protected. We’ll do everything we can to respect your new policies as well! Together we can keep each other safe and working! We’re all a team! We care about you and appreciate all you do for us! Thanks for helping to keep us at work and healthy! It’s very unfortunate that some business need to close their doors right now. Hopefully we can get through this time without having to close anymore doors. We all deserve to be healthy at work. It’s horrible that this isn’t possible right now. We feel for those that can’t make it to work right including those that are sick at the moment. Please check out some of the amazing groups that have recently opened up on Facebook. There’s some great ways people are staying connected through technology instead of physically. Just in case nobody said it yet, you’re doing great! Keep up the good work! We’ll get through this together! GO TEAM!!! Again, we’re ALL essential!
