Red Wing Heritage match with a pair of Red Wing boots. These belts are handcrafted in the USA. Using the same premium leathers used to build Red Wing footwear, Pioneer leather is created in our very own S.B. Foot tannery. Sturdy, thick, high-quality leather is essential for making Red Wing work boots. Since Mr. Charles Beckman founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905, premium leathers would be a key requirement for our footwear. In 1987, Red Wing acquired the S.B. Foot Tann...ing Company. The tannery was founded in 1872 on the banks of Trout Brook in Featherstone Township, just down the road from Red Wing’s Plant. Mr. Beckman himself worked at the Foot tannery. The tannery has been part of the Red Wing, Minnesota community for generations. Pioneer is a premium, oil tanned full grain leather made from heavyweight U.S. cattle hides. Red Wing Heritage
