Press release day! Check out the new large scale mural up at Ryerson University! This portrait of Tee Lyn Duke is from the Concrete Indians series and was photographed March 2010. It'll be up for 5 years and measures 10 x 15.7 feet! Miigwech to all involved in making this happen: Paul Roth, Laura Heidenheim, Riley Kucheran, NAISA, Mosaic Graphics and Signs Inc., plus Wanda Nanibush for recommending Red Works. Photos from installation day will be posted later today.

In celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, Spark is proud to share the story of Red Works Photography @_anishinaabekwe Nadya Kwandibens is Ojibwe from the A...nimakee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation in northwestern Ontario. She is a portrait and events photographer and has travelled extensively across Canada for over 10 years. In 2008 she founded Red Works, a dynamic photography company empowering contemporary Indigenous lifestyles and cultures through photographic essays and features. Red Works also provides image-licensing, workshops, and presentations. Her photography has been shown in group and solo exhibitions across Canada and the United States.
