I wanted to take the time to address the COVID-19 updates as it pertains to real estate that Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister Dix released on Saturday, November 7th, banning all social gatherings & indoor group physical activities. How will this affect real estate? Open houses and showings can proceed as long as strict safety measures continue to be followed. Transactions and paperwork will continue as per usual as most of this is now done electronically and without concern. ... I continue to do my due diligence when responding to showing requests - ensuring anyone entering the homes of my sellers or my buyers when viewing a home has not returned from travel, been in contact with someone who was ill or been ill themselves in the past 2 weeks. I am asking everyone to sanitize before entering and avoid touching any furniture or personal belongings while in the home.
