The only constant in life is change. Shift happens. As of August 1st, I will no longer be teaching Tai Chi classes at the Creekside Recreation and Community Centre at False Creek Athlete's Village in Vancouver. This was a personal decision, I was not asked to leave or anything bad like that. It was time to move on. I want to wish my former Creekside students all the best in their future Tai Chi endeavours and hope we can meet from time to time to share where life has taken... us. When or if Reeling Silk T'ai Chi classes reappear only time will tell but for now, we're on an extended holiday. If serendipity favours you and you happen to be in Rocky Pt Park in Port Moody and see some guy that looks like me practicing, it probably is, so feel free to interrupt me and say hi. I am deepening my own practice with studies under Grand Master Sifu Victor Fu, learning Fu style Tai Chi, Xing-yi and Bagua. During the summer he teaches at the park at Slocan and 29th Wed eves and Saturday mornings. Please feel free to come by and talk to him if you're interested in learning Fu style. Cheers, Rich
