How to safely cross a pressure crack while on foot. Thanks to Donny Luchkiw from Bear Point Fish Hut Rentals
I’m not ashamed to say we have been working with POW casting for years and will continue to do so. Excellent products and even better people behind them. Support local, support Canadian!
Act right and you won't go swimming!
Stay tuned! We are currently looking into offering guided ice fishing trips local to the Kitchener/ Cambridge area. PM if you are interested. Target species would be pike and panfish.Stay tuned! Got the whole family on the ice for a couple hours. Thanks to Mike Lavigne from Team Underdog Sportfishing for the herring bellies. Pike loved them! Only caught 1 but we missed 4 more. Girls had a great afternoon skating and fishing
These are the water fleas that I was showing you guys on our trips. Nasty little buggers. Some of you saw how clumped up they get in the lines
I often get asked, what is your age limit for kids? For safety, my boat rule is 8 years of age or older. Big kids welcome too! Last year we entertained guests from age 8-87!
Due to lack of interest on the raffle we will not be doing it. I gave it a few weeks and only had a couple of responses. However, I will be making gift cards for anyone who wants a stocking stuffer for their friends and loved ones. Shoot me a msg and I’ll get you hooked up. Enjoy the season everyone! Stay safe, already looking forwards to 2021!
Little bit of guidance for your ice trip. Remember, no matter how thick the ice is, there is no such things as safe ice
That’s it that’s all for our first season in business. I set a goal before COVID to do 50 charters. Thanks to all of you, I achieved my goal and then some. This has been a great learning year for myself and I appreciate all of the help I have had along the way. There are far too many people to thank individually. Thanks to the Bronte crew. Nice to have a good group of friends to work with. Huge thanks to my family for supporting me through my new business. Last but not least, thanks to everyone who has booked a trip with me this year. I look forward to having you out again next season and hopefully for many seasons to come. Have a safe fall/winter and we’ll see you in April!
Just had a cancellation for this coming Saturday, October 3. 6am-12noon. PM for more info
Lots of bows this weekend. Thanks for coming out James and Kiana!
Just had a cancellation Saturday afternoon 2-8. Pm me if you are interested. Also have Friday afternoon 2-8 or evening 4-8 available.
Ended the summer with a pair of rainbows last night. Went out in 1’ chop and came in 4 hours later in 5-6 footers. Safety is always our number 1 concern. Only 2 weeks left in our season, a few weekday PM bookings remain open. Contact me for more info
Evening double, almost a triple
Friday night charter.... real slow until the last half hour of the trip when we took 4 hits landing a nice clean 14lb male. After the charter I was invited out on my friend’s boat to cast glow spoons for salmon. B got this tank of a buck. No scale so we are going to say a solid 35lbs lol (inside joke) fish was probably 24-25lbs. Thanks again for the invite B! Unfortunately, the weekend looks like a bust due to the wind. We were fully booked. Oh well, can’t beat Mother Nature.
Couple nice edits done by Canadian Fishing Network of Jim’s 22lb 11Oz and 28lb 2oz salmon last night
Great evening when you can help an 87 year old man catch the biggest fish of his life! Also the largest fish in the boat so far this year. 28lb 2oz. Congrats Jim!
Here is what our calendar looks like. White= morning and afternoon available Yellow= afternoon/evening available Red= already booked
What an incredible fish! These are swimming around our waters. This is what we chase every trip.
Another great weekend with great clients. The big kings are getting ready to make their journey up the rivers to spawn and die soon. Thankfully we have found a nice class of bows and 2 year old chinook hanging around that should keep up busy into October.
Beauty shot of our customer hooked up with a 21lb king from our friend Mike Beric
Attn! If you have an upcoming trip booked with me, please send me a message. I had to get a new phone and lost my calendar from the old phone. Thanks in advance!
Had a great evening out with this father son team. The fish started chomping when the sky opened up but they toughed it out! Caught some nice fish and lost a few more. Thank for coming out Kyle Sweeney!
