On this project our clients had a leak coming into their home through the existing tar and gravel roofing system. Our recommendation was to remove the tar and gravel and install an new 2-Ply SBS Membrane commercial grade flat roofing system. As shown in our posted photos we removed the tar and gravel, then cleaned the substrate leaving the original wood deck exposed ready to receive the new roofing system. The new roofing system includes mechanically fastened FR-180 (Board & Base), detail work around vents including a newly built cricket at the brick chimney, custom made 3 1/2" white drip edge and finished off with torch applied Soprema 250 SBS cap sheet. Another roofing system conversion success for an another amazing client of ours who won't have to worry about his roof for 50+ years!

This commercial project was scheduled to be a 3 week project in Ft. McMurray. With extreme short notice we mobilized, completed the scope of work and de-mobilized off site in 10 days. Our amazing and hard working crews removed metal siding, densglass gypsum board, then strategically disassembled the large mansards steel stud framing, metal roofing and cut into 10 foot sections and prepped for hoisting. We also had to upgrade to a 300 tonne crane with a boom and jib with a total reach of 450' feet to hoist all of the cut and prepped sections onto the ground. All in all this project was another great successful for 2020 and done in record time for our client with zero incidents.

A recent Asbestos Abatement we completed in an older multi-family apartment building in downtown Edmonton that had water damage. This building was constructed in 1978 and came back positive for ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) in the ceilings for both the exterior parkade and mechanical room. We completed an asbestos abatement in these affected areas. Here are some progress photos from our initial inspection until the end of the project where a full clearance was confirmed... by the consultant.
