It's time to put that in the past, add some beer into the mix, and create some new embarrassing science-related memories. Our first ever Science Battle Night is taking place on Wednesday November 25th at 7:30 in our London Rd taproom. Teams of 4 will compete to create the strongest/biggest/fastest creation based on that nights challenge. Winners get an A, lose...rs get a swirly. Just like high school. A couple years ago while on a house-boat tour in the Yukon, Tonii, one of our whimsical owners, found a 2 year old bottle of beer lying on the bottom of a remote lake. Naturally he dove down to retrieve it and drank it. Legend has it that it was "the best tasting beer in the entire history of the world". The rest of us suffered from severe jealousy, having known we missed out on this folkloric event. In an attempt to repeat this experience, we decided to lake-age a beer of our own. Several days ago we sank 100 bottles to the bottom of Lake Huron to age for 6 months below the ice. In April we will retrieve them, and then we can all taste the best beer in the world together (insert maniacal laugh here). To be continued...
