Speaking up! https://www.theanchor.ca//local-physicians-closing-practi/
Dr Gooden and Dr Reddy set the record straight. We have both reached out to our MLA, Hon. Leela Aheer. Dr Gooden had an extensive discussion with her at the very outset of all these proposed changes. After many hours, she was placated and sent off, and nothing changed. Dr. Reddy contacted the MLA office recently after resignation letters were sent out, clearly outlining reasons for practice closures.... Our MLA is too busy to meet to discuss these issues, and has passed her on to the press secretary, Steve Buick. This would be the same Steve Buick that blatantly referred to us, physicians as liars recently, and shows no regard or respect for the families we serve.
Our core concerns ...
