Reflex Learning is looking for a knowledgeable, professional EMR, PCP or ACP who is able to provide emergency care for patients who have an active injury during our expeditions. The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent patient service skills, is able to work well under pressure, and make quick decisions about patient health. The successful applicant must be familiar with all equipment in our trauma bags and have the ability to hike for extended periods of tim...e. Duties include but aren't limited to: * Respond to emergency situations, assess patient condition and make critical care decisions quickly * Collect pertinent patient care data and handover that data to a medical professional based on AHS procedures * Complete paperwork in legible handwriting for all patients * Maintain a running inventory of medical supplies on the response vehicles, trauma kits and makes purchase requests when necessary Requirements: * High school diploma/GED required * Must possess a valid driver’s license * Current CPR and First Aid certificates * Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics * Ability to remain calm and deliver quality care in high-pressure situations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required * Ability to hike for extended periods of time All interested applicants are encouraged to apply by emailing their resume to [email protected] We thank all applicants that apply.
