The last 40 some hours have been quite the whirlwind! Lindsay and her family would like to introduce their new addition, Emerson Ryan, born January 9th at 7:07am weighing 8lbs 4oz. And what a way he came! You will probably start to hear rumours of someone delivering a baby in the hallway of the hospital, well that was us! Emerson made his debut on the way to the elevators and Janna was able to check something off her bucket list as she caught him and got attention of the po...or unsuspecting staff on medicine. And before you ask why did she wait so long to get to the hospital, we didn’t. However, Lindsay may have been manifesting a quick delivery and has been prepping for the last 3 weeks with acupuncture, colostrum harvesting, stretching, meditation and treatments with Janna to get this labour going!. Although the experience has been surreal and we are all still processing what happened, the entire family is resting up and taking it all in! Thank you to all the staff on maternity, we were in excellent care! See more

We can help ourselves find relief within the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety/feeling down we may be experiencing more and more lately. Meditation is a tool that has been proven to do that. Guided meditations are so beneficial for aiding in the meditation process, especially if you feel you can’t meditate. I was one of those people and I’ve got numerous tips and tricks for you! Get yourself reset and rebooted with a gentle guided meditation to help with downshifting our nervous system and releasing stress tension within the body. Give yourself and your body the space and opportunity to find the calm within the outside storms, and calm the inner storms. We will be working with a guided release for the body and then a guided release for the mind. Focusing on helping the brain and mind to slow, calm, and find clarity. A recording will be provided after the meditation for anyone who can’t make it live, and for everyone in attendance to listen to again. We will be adhering to the required physical distancing at all times, as well as wearing masks. Choose your most easy breathing mask (non-surgical have been the best I’ve found for that), bring a pen and paper and a blanket or two! We’ll be streaming it live on zoom as well!
