Regie's On The Hill

I would like to say a big thank you to all our valued customers of Regie's On The Hill and Regie's Too as well. Thank you for your patronage, it has been a sincere pleasure to serve you for the past five years and I have loved almost every moment of it. Having said that, it has become apparent that this old nag has got to retreat and set in motion the wheels of eventual retirement, so I would like to let everyone know that I am passing the reins to Angela Martin and Ryan Re...gimbal. I hope everyone will join me in wishing them continued success. I hope that they will enjoy serving you as much as I have. We at Regie's Too would like to appologize to our customers for being closed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We have been doing some maintenance and refinishing the tables. Originally we had only planned to close on Saturday evening but because the tables didn't have time to cure by Sunday morning, we had to do some touch ups and sealing which created a lot of strong fumes on Sunday afternoon so we needed to close for the evening. We will be open again on Monday morning and look forward to serving you. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Regie's Too: Update on the next Chef's challenge (Kitchen Wars). We have decided on a theme for our Kitchen Wars. We will be holding a Chinese night. Each participant will prepare a small plate meal with three items and each customer will get to sample a plate from each participant. To date we are not quite sure how many cooks will have the nerve to accept the challenge but there will be at least 3 for sure, which means you will get at least 3 plates. We are going to do ...things a little differently this time, we will be pre selling tickets for two different seatings, both on March 26. One seating will be at 5:30 pm and the second one will be at 6:30. Tickets will be available starting March 1st. for $18.00 and will include a plate from each cook as well as your coffee or tea. Customers will be given score cards and asked to judge each plate for visual appearance, crativity and taste. Service will begin at 5:30 and 6:30 and will start with a description of each plate. Customers will not know which dish was prepared by which cook so as to give each participant an even playing field with no bias by friends. Hope to see you all there for a fun night and great food. Big Winter Blues Buster at Regie's On The Hill and at Regie's Too. We at both Regie's know that times are tough so for the rest of the winter, we are rolling back the breakfast prices to give our valued customers a break. Starting Saturday, February 20, 2016 we are lowering the price of breakfast to $5.99 and will include one free coffee. We hope that this will make the rest of your winter a little warmer and a bit more pleasant.....

Coming soon to Regie's Too, the next in our series of Chef's challenges. Stay tuned to see which Chef will try to dethrone Mabel and to see which dishes they will prepare in their attempt to do so. We are throwing a few new twists into the challenge this time. Each participant will be given the same protein (meat) to prepare, and they will know in advance what it will be so they can plan ahead on how to use it but each participant will be given an allowance to purchase one... ingredient of their choice to make their dish. Another twist, several other employees will be given an allowance to purchase a secret ingredient, (one for each challenger), they will place it in a brown paper bag and place it in the challengers basket but will tell no one what the ingredient is. The cooks will need to use every ingredient in their basket in some way in their preparation. Each cook will prepare a small meal for each customer, thereby giving each customer several small meals to enjoy and judge. More details coming soon. Please stay tuned. See more

It's been a while since I posted what was happening at the Two Regie's so just a little heads up. Regie's On The Hill will be open from 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday, Oct. 11/15 but Regie's Too will be open all day and will be serving Turkey dinner with all the fixings from 2:00 pm to close. We will also be serving half cornish hens. Regie's Too will be closed all day Thanksgiving Day, Oct. 12th but Regie's On The Hill will be open all day and will start serving Turkey dinner at 2... pm until closing. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we know you will understand that our staff would like to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with their families. Looking forward to serving you on Sunday or Monday. If you are downtown at the Block party on Saturday, August 22nd, don't forget to stop by Regie's Too. We will be hosting a ring toss game for kids with three shots for .25 cents. every child will leave with a prize whether they get a ring on a target or not.. We are also hosting a bakesale and a BBQ with hamburgers for $2.99, hotdogs for $1.99 and corn on the cob for $1.50. Ice Cream and Pop will also be available. Hope to see you all there.

Hey Folks, just to let you know, for the whole month of August, small soft serve ice cream cones are only 99 cents at Regie's Too.

OK we are no Dairy Queen, but we are trying to relieve the discomfort of this heat for you. Starting tomorrow Regie's On The Hill will have available for your enjoyment, hard ice cream in a regular cone or a waffle cone. Come on in and enjoy a cold one.

Almost forgot (well ok I did forget) to mention, Canada Day Special, Buy one Hamburger and Fry platter and get the second one for half price.

For your convenience and for any visitors in town, Regie's Too will be open on July 1st from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Regie's On The Hill will be closed for the first time on Canada Day. Happy Canada Day everyone hope you have a fun filled day and enjoy the fireworks.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! The debit and credit machine has arrived at Regie's Too. So happy, hated telling cutomers cash only. Thank you to our wonderful customers for your patience.

I would like to apologize to the customers of Regie's Too. We are in the process of getting the debit and credit machine but for some reason it is a slow process. I have been assured that it will be in before the Festival but then again I was assured it would be in before we opened. I spoke to the rep on Friday and will be calling again tomorrow if it is not in yet. I'm so sorry for the invonvenience.

Well we are up and running but we are still ironing out a few wrinkles. We got the new cutter for the french fries and started using it today (Saturday), I can guarantee the fries will be 100 % better. Please remember, if you have any problems at Regie's Too or Regie's On The Hill, tell us about it, we can't fix it if we don't know it's broken and as most of you know, we will always try to fix all problems. We encountered a few big problems this week with equipment failure...s and such but managed to replace them in time to get up for Halibut night on Friday. I want to apologize to anyone that had poor service or a plate that was not up to my standards, as with any new venture, there will always be a few glitches but if you let me know about them I will make it up to you. So we are finally nearing the finish line. We will be opening on Thursday morning at 7:00 AM. Unfortunately our phone is not connected and will not be until June 3rd. but if you want to make a reservation, just call Regie's On The Hill and they will relay the message to Regie's Too. Also because we don't have the phone line yet, it will be cash only until we get the debit machine and internet connected. Mother's Day is Sunday, why not bring Mom out for Eggs Bennedict or Apple/Pecan pancakes with apple syrup or Cinnamon Raisin french toast or maybe bring her out for dinner of Mandarin Orange chicken on a bed of Mekong rice or a nice plate of Fettucine Alfredo with lobster or shrimp or Chicken.
