We’re having a poinsettia fundraiser!! 2020 has proved to be a challenge in more ways than one. One of the biggest challenges for our group has been figuring out how to fundraise in order to be able to participate in Adopt-a-Family this year. So we have decided to get festive and sell poinsettias!! Poinsettias range in price from $14 for an individual plant, to $50 for an arrangement. We would invite you to check out our fundraising page and get ready to get into the Christ...mas spirit!! We are also selling Church Calendars for $5 each this year!! Sometimes you have to be willing to stop when everyone else is passing by. On the way home from dropping off goodies at the girls’ houses we came across this little one who was in need of a helping hand. We’re happy to report that he is now safe and warm with someone who can care for him and friends to grow up with

The Regina CGIT has made the difficult decision to postpone our Lent movie afternoon indefinitely. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic we feel that it is our social responsibility to help flatten the curve of this virus. This includes social distancing and limiting the amount of time we are face-to-face with others. We will keep you updated about when and if we are able to host this event going forward. Thank you for all of your support and remember to wash your hands!!

Sunday has come, but it's very hard to see this year. It can feel like the world is stuck on Friday. Like the pain, loss, grief and trauma are so overwhelming... that it can't possibly be Sunday. So maybe this year instead of looking for a grand day and a grand proclamation we need to look instead for the little bit of Sunday shinning out in those around us. Sunday was all about hope and love. It was a promise, a promise of redemption and healing. This Sunday we look to the frontline workers. The doctors, nurses, caretakers, porters, clerks, caregivers and the countless others who are putting their lives on the line in the most incredible show of love that many of us will have ever seen. We look to the people in the background, working behind the scenes to ease the burden on society. To the truck drivers, teachers, childcare providers and others who have come together and are providing people hope. Hope of normalcy and hope for healing. Perhaps we should be looking for the Sunday in all those that we meet. In a time when we show our love by being physically distanced, we are reminded that the only way through the pain and trauma is together. That while love keeps us separate, love will also bring us back together. We are reminded that we are called upon to do God's work in our world. To Cherish Health, Seek Truth, Know God, and perhaps most importantly, to Serve Others. Because, my friends, Sunday has come. https://youtu.be/9QThxyu8zVg
