Kahi Loa, a Hawaiian Shamanic Healing modality developed by Serge Kahili King, is the newest addition to my toolbox and I am really excited about offering it to you! I did the training during the pregnancy with my very watery baby, and I feel very connected to the essence of this lineage. Kahi Loa draws on the forces of nature through the powers of the mind to clear, balance and nourish the body in a heart-centered way. Its philosophy is based in the belief that the combined... use of the conscious mind and nature harmonizes and heals. It’s a bit of an interactive process, meaning we will journey through the elements together, with our combined focus strengthening their healing impact. With this in mind and simply put, Kahi Loa is detoxifying skin massage. It is received clothed in natural material or covered with a sheet. The skin is your largest and oldest organ and performs many important functions for you, acting as selective boundary, sense organ, and organ of elimination alike. The toxins released during the session are absorbed by your clothes, with the remainder released into the bloodstream. Remember to hydrate to integrate this experience. You might feel tired and best take it easy for the rest of the day. All in all, you will be cradled in the sumptuous embrace and deeply grounding energy of Hawaii and the spirit of Aloha (divine love), and leave the session relaxed and re-set. 60 and 90 minute sessions are available. What a precious and powerful month it has been, since our daughter Muriel Sophia joined us earth side on the equinox The way of her arrival overthrew all our natural birth expectations (and my expectations of the nature of my initiation into motherhood) when she didn’t tolerate contractions well and entered the world via caesarean. Glad as I was for the healthy baby I held in my arms, much inner and outer challenge was unearthed through this birth experience, a new leve...l of surrender and softening required of me. Never have I been as grateful for my network of mind-, heart- and body-healers, for my family and true friends, and especially my love Massimo my rock, as in this transition. Feeling so supported, connected and held in the rewriting of these stories of pain and failure into stories of meaning, joy and healing. And Muriel herself is the greatest source of pure happy, all this deep inner work aside I have been blissfully immersed in her, in us, in my new role as her mother, feeling so so blessed and in love Much of this has been lived and held here in our new healing space at home, the circular sacred space of our geodesic dome. I can’t imagine a better beginning to the good healing work and ceremony that is to unfold here moving forward, than my very own deep death and rebirth into motherhood Until we are ready to invite and rejoin the world, I am sending you all tender big love from our luminous bubble
