Join us Friday for our youth stage followed by an all-age open mic. Randy Lundy, poet extraordinaire, is our feature! Free for performers!
November 10 - Writing Truthfully - A spoken word workshop with Nisha Patel This workshop encourages writers to write from a place of honesty and truth. Focusing on the strength of the personal narrative, guided writing is meant to encourage writers to write authentically on experiences or relationships that have impacted them while examining their relationship with themselves. Register now to save your spot! http://ow.ly/V7zr30mnkAr
Today! Doors at 7:30pm. Start your evening with poetry! Round one is a combination of our all-age open mic and our youth stage - everyone shares the same stage! Round two falls into anarchy! Wear costumes! Bring props! Perform someone else's work and choose to give them credit! Anarchy is a state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority. We see the rules - but we ignore them for one (half) event!
Please note the change of location! Poets will not be at the Art Park as originally promoted, but due to weather will be moved to a cozy spot inside the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. See you Saturday!
