For anyone interested in the Virtual Kata Championship Robb was talking about this weekend, check it out! Great opportunity to try out some different judo skills without the pressure of a live audience! We have some amazing Kata coaches who are happy to help you out.
It was awesome seeing our youth athlete's back on the mats tonight! This group of Kinder's got to show off their memory after their break and earned some yellow stripes! Way to go!!
Kinder and youth families, we've missed you!! It's been a long month without your bright smiles. Our instructors are currently working on our plans to get you back to the dojo, and we look forward to seeing you February 8th!! One more week!!
Youth and Kinder class update: we are all watching those COVID numbers climb, and a couple of our youth coaches have had cases hitting close to home. Instead of bringing in new people, or exposing our unvaccinated youth to potential COVID contacts we have made the tough decision to shut down our Tuesday/Thursday classes for the rest of the month. Adult classes are still running Monday/Wednesday for the time being. We are doing everything we can to keep active and safe. If you are feeling unwell please stay home, we will see you all back on the mats soon!
Adult class update: There will be no classes this weekend (Jan 8,9) or next weekend (Jan 15/16) as out instructor will be unavailable, and with COVID numbers doing what they are doing we are choosing to not bring in a sub. Weeknight and kids classes are still running without issue! See you Monday!
Who's ready to get back to judo!?! Regular classes start back up tonight, and our youth hit the mats tomorrow! See you there.
Happy New Year to everyone in our Judo family. We hope to be back on the mats in 2021 and sharing our love of Judo with you all.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!!
