As the world adapts to the new normal REgroup/ Royal Flush is here to contribute to help stop the spread of Covid-19. We have donated a hand wash station located in front of Halifax Seaport Market. Our hope is that anyone enjoying the waterfront uses the station to help keep our city, and each other safe.

The economy is slowly reopening and its fantastic news! We are keeping all safety/health precautions in place for the foreseeable future to keep our staff safe. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication from our staff during this extremely difficult time. Additionally, we appreciate all of our customer support and HRM Residents for helping us to stay safe and keep our neighborhoods clean.

When a little boy says all he wants for his 4th birthday is to see one of our trucks up close (while socially distancing of course) and meet our drivers, we make it happen!!!! Happy 4th birthday Daniel!!!

REMINDER: Curbside collection continues on its normal schedule. You are permitted one bulky item per garbage day and six (6) garbage bags one of which can be a black privacy bag. If you have items to donate hold on to them until charities are able to accept them. Please do not leave items next to donation bins.

Heres an update on how we are supporting our staff during this tumultuous time: All Employees have been provided with throwaway surgical gloves as well as their regular PPE gloves. Social Distancing and ALL other Government generated literature has been posted through-out and we are providing friendly reminders on a daily bases.... Each truck has been provide with a spray bottle containing Ethyl Alcohol for the drivers/helpers to wipe down their interior of the their trucks. We have closed down our close quarters time clock areas to reduce grouping and increase social distancing by having our employees use the shop clock located in a more open area. We have eliminated the morning gathering areas where employees stop to talk We have postponed all driver/helpers group meeting and tool-box group meetings, including upcoming social group events such as First Aid Training, BBQs We have stopped employees arriving well before their clock in times and spending excessive time in the shop areas. We have eliminated three person in a truck for training purposes All buildings are been cleaned and sanitized twice per day Currently have multiple employees cleaning and sanitizing all spare trucks Operations has installed multiple wall mounted sanitizers around and near washroom facilities. Personal hygiene signage has been posted in all washrooms pertaining to proper hand washing techniques Operations is continuing to source all other sanitizing products for availability

With garbage collection being an essential service our teams and their trucks will continue to be on the road. Please help us keep them safe! Think of them when youre tying up that bag, putting compost in your green bin and moving your items to the roadside for collection. Consider what you can do to help minimize their potential of exposure. Wash your hands prior to touching items theyll be required to touch. Keep yourself and children back the required distance while th...ey are collecting items roadside. Were proud of our fleet and our teams that continues to show up and give to our community by providing this service. Its an important job although often a thankless one. Lets help them stay safe out there, together. For them and for the families they love and work so hard for.
