I feel so lucky that I got to see another double rainbow yesterday! It filled my entire being with joy. I had the biggest smile on my face. The interesting thing is I had literally been talking about a double rainbow with some friends 30-60min prior to seeing this one. Recently I shared the double rainbow with my son & this time I got to share this special moment with one of my besties, Pete. I love when synchronicities happen! It is such a beautiful & magical thing. I was able to share this magical moment of a double rainbow with my 4 year old son. When I was younger, my nana would call our house from Peterborough, Ontario to say there was a rainbow. My family & I would rush to see if we could see it too. We would always see the rainbow over the barn on the hill just up from our house located near Bridgenorth, Ontario. After she passed away, the rainbows took on a "double" meaning. The memories of calling each other when we saw a rainbow and her saying "hi" to us now. A helpful reminder for all of us. Breathe. We often need reminders to breathe deeply. Try this exercise. If possible, get into a comfortable space. Preferably a quiet space where you can take some time for yourself. Close your eyes. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth (*note - you can inhale and exhale how you are most comfortable). Ask yourself, how am I feeling? Is there any part of my body holding stress, tension, anxiety, sadness, worry, etc? Co...ntinue inhaling and exhaling. Breathing deeply. Repeat at least 10 times. Then pause and ask yourself, how do I feel? Am I calmer? Are those parts of my body still holding stress, anxiety, etc? If you are still holding these less favourable emotions, you may want to consider continuing with breathing deeply until you experience more calmness. I spent a long time in a career field that was taking more from me than I had to give. My cup was empty more often than it was full. I knew that I needed to make a change. There were multiple messages pushing me to make a shift in my life but I continued to ignore them. I resisted the change. Finally I listened to my inner voice and took a flying leap of faith into the unknown. My fear had held me back for about 3 years. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love!
