We made this a while ago but have just gotten around to taking a photo. We call it ‘Liquid Light’, as all the items - water pump, colander, tap and drip (made from part of a coat hook) - have something to do with water.
Just a reminder that we're happy to make custom designs - either you can provide the item(s) or you can give us an idea of what you'd like and we can either use something we have in our inventory or we can keep an eye out for something appropriate in our travels. If you want it for Christmas, however, please give us a little bit of notice!

We’re all set up for the West End Studio Tour this weekend, Saturday and Sunday between 11 and 5. We’re at 31 Warren - drop by and say hi!
We (well, actually Tim) got the vintage phonograph working just in time for the 2nd weekend of the West End Studio Tour. Come hear some early 20th c favourites!
The final frontier. Here's the last of our new stuff - 3 robots with a space theme.

Still being inspired by early 20th century design - the philosophy of 'form follows function' (rather than the style).
We've been looking at Art Deco/Machine Age design recently - here's a few lamps inspired by the form and motifs of that era.
Continuing on with the musical theme - 2 quite different pieces!
Here's the first of our new creations for the West End Studio Tour, inspired by the lamp-posts along Wellington St. Made from a vintage clarinet and a couple of pieces of silver dinnerware. (Note that no musical instruments were harmed in the making of this - the clarinet was being sold for parts!)
We’re excited to be participating in the West End Studio Tour this year. Mark the last 2 weekends in September on your calendar and visit some local artists. More info and map at westendstudiotour.ca. You should also be seeing some brochures and bookmarks at local businesses.
Here’s our set up at the Glebe Community Centre this week. Hours are Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11- 4. Hope to see some of you there - there’s lots of great artisans, as well as yummy foodie-type stuff (we’ve already bought a few types of flavoured honey that won prizes at the Carp Fair). Support local for your holiday shopping!
Last 2 lamps before the show - one a classic silver coffee pot design, the other a little different. 'Cosmo Naut' is made from a vintage meat grinder plus lots of bits and pieces, including an Expo '67 pin from the Russian pavilion (hence the name).
