Keep an eye out for my next project. I found this vintage reclaimed Canadian made clock the other day. The clock didn’t work when I bought but I had a feeling there was still life left in there. I brought it home took it apart and got it telling time again. Now to see how we can get this in someone’s home for another 30 years.
Here’s a few photos of my latest project. This stand up pipe lamp is off to a friend of mine today. Thanks again Brent.
Old and new! Amazing how this wood stands out when all the sanding and finishing have been complete. Doesn’t matter where you put it.
The latest re-claimed vintage style pipe lamp. I built this one with re-claimed Douglas fir base 2x10 with a 1x6 shelf. The light bulb is a re- make of Thomas Edison’s first light he ever made. Also, there is a water tap light switch built in. These can be made in almost any configuration. Thanks for looking.
I have started work on this piece of history. This is a gauge cluster from a 1950’s Brill Trolley bus. These buses moved thousands of people around the City of Vancouver. They were owned and operated by B.C. Hydro at the time. Most have been destroyed but there are a few still renaming in ares of Central B.C. I will clean it up and re-wire the lights attach it to some reclaimed wood and see what happens next.
Trying something different with epoxy.
Here is a counter top extension for a rv trailer.
Finished this one the other day. Reclaimed wood and glass.
Completed this frame today. That’s the sea monster.
Here’s a look at some before and after frames I’ve made recently. The wood is a hundred years old and still looks great!
Ben busy making a coupe of reclaimed picture frames. The eagle was a gift. The artist is Richard Shorty from Northern Tuchone Nation in the Yukon.
Started the frame for this painting I received a while back. Looks great so far.
Here is a reclaimed piece of driftwood I picked up in Revelstoke a couple of years ago. Looks good mounted to our fence in the back yard.
My latest reclaimed project. I rescued these wall mount candle holder from a salvage yard. I mounted them to Somme 100 year old fir and hung them on our pergola. They will look great with a plant on them.
