Meet Chris! Chris has been an RMT since 2010 and has been working with relax. for 2 years. He just celebrated his anniversary with us this month! You can find Chris at the Greenbank location, performing on stage, or ripping down the track of any roller coaster he can find.... He has a wonderful blog, tensionpreventionmassage.com. He updates it once a month and is currently working on a series about lower back pain. Which is so incredibly common, we're sure many people would love to know more. Chris says he loves working for Relax because "It’s great being part of a respectful team at the clinic and working with like-minded individuals. Tightness in our upper traps and levator scapula muscles can lead to elevated shoulders, difficulty bending and rotating the neck (hello shoulder checks!), and headaches. . . These basic stretches can help reduce some of the tightness in these muscles and encourage them to lengthen into a more favourable position... . . Hold for at least 30s and repeat 2-3 times a day. Place a hand on your shoulder to keep it from down and away from your ears. NEVER stretch into a range that causes any pain. Don’t forget to breathe! . .
