COVID-19 update What a roller coaster we've been on!? But I have some great news to share, Dog Walking is allowed to operate again There has been a ton of work going on behind the scenes to get this result, and I want to say a huge thank you to my clients for being so incredibly patient and generous during this difficult time ... All of our previous safety and sanitation protocols are still firmly in place, and I'm so happy to be able to provide you with a necessary service once again! While we celebrate this win, we also need to continue to push for dog groomers to be given the same level of respect for how important they are to the health and well being of our pets. It breaks my heart to know that our services, which are very very low risk for transmission of COVID-19, and SO IMPORTANT for the behavioural and physical health of the dogs, are being told to close our doors for 28 days . I can completely understand that your dog walking needs may be reduced, or eliminated entirely. If you are able to work from home, I hope you will consider maintaining your pups' normal schedule, or at least a portion of their regular weekly walks. If you must cancel, please try to provide as much notice as possible, so that I can adj...ust the schedule. If you are able, please remember that small businesses such as dog walkers, house cleaners, local restaurants, and daycare providers can take quite a financial hit during times like this and can use your ongoing support as much as possible. Beginning Tuesday May 19th, our walking services are back to full strength I have also opened up a few spots for puppies (under 6 months of age) to help jumpstart their socialization... This is a perfect opportunity to get your pandemic puppy some much needed structure and exposure!
