Newfoundlanders and Labradorians rallied today at the Confederation building to demand action from our Federal government to support our offshore. Rogers Enterprises Ltd. (REL) supports a strong and vibrant offshore oil and gas industry for Newfoundland and Labrador. We support all the offshore workers and support workers that make a living from oil and gas. We put our full support behind Unifor Local 2121, NOIA and all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and demand that the Federal government take immediate action to support this crucial industry. We are not asking for a hand out! We are asking for a hand up! It is time to act before it is too late. Everyone needs to show our support.

NOTICE: MAY 5, 2020 - Training Schedule Update In light of the Governments recent announcement of the Alert Level System and an expected move to Alert Level 4 on May 11, 2020 REL has now opened registration for training on May 11th and moving forward. All recommended government guidelines will be followed and class sizes will be restricted to a maximum of nine (9) participants. ... Please note that training dates may be rescheduled if the province does not move to Alert Level 4 as predicted. We will be taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone who enters our facility by maintaining social distancing and disinfecting several times throughout the day. Disinfectant solution will be available throughout the facility as well. Had calls from Dental Offices that need to perform emergency procedures and Long Term Care Home workers all having trouble finding qualified persons to fit test their staff on much needed respirators. After assessing the risk to myself and staff we decided to help out. Had my Tyvec suit, gloves, N95 respirator safety goggles and face shield. So, well protected. Spaced the workers at intervals to keep everyone safe, had multiple hoods that we could disinfected after each use, and allow time between hood usage. All in all, everything went successful!.

Newfoundland and the rest of the world are currently facing some tough times and front line essential workers are at a higher risk than most. It is extremely important that respiratory protection worn by front line workers fits properly. To this end, REL has been providing services to long term care workers, dental offices and other front line workers by conducting Fit Tes...ting to ensure a safe and proper fit. TRAINING SCHEDULE UPDATE MARCH 26, 2020 REL is committed to protecting the health and safety of our staff and clients in these unprecedented times. As a responsible community member, we are following recommended health guidelines to reduce the risk of exposure to our employees and clients and have made the difficult decision to cease all training offerings at this time. We will close our doors in both Paradise and Grand Falls from March 30-April 10, 2020. We encourage ever...yone to take this time to reconnect with your families and to take care of yourselves. Important Course Registration Update from REL With the growing global concerns regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) REL would like to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of everyone that is scheduled for training at our facility. REL is taking precautions by conducting daily cleaning with sanitizer and will have liquid soap and tissues available. We also ask that students refrain from shaking hands and instead greet others with a hand wave or elbow to...uch. We ask students who are sick or have flu like symptoms to reschedule their course or visit to our facilities. Similarly, students who have travelled or been in contact with someone who has travelled to a destination with a travel health notice for COVID-19 are asked to contact us to reschedule their course.
