We asked a few questions to get to know him better Congratulations on your role as a Marketing Coordinator at Rely Digital! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? I was born in Iran and moved to Canada with an aspiration of pursuing a Business degree. During my years at SFU I gravitated towards marketing because I saw the potential impact it could provide for small businesses tryin...g to grow. What are you most excited about in the next few months? I'm most excited about the constant learning and growth. Everyday, we solve new problems and reach new goals for our clients. There's always so much to learn and it keeps me on my toes! Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself? I breathe The Office, and I’m an Arsenal fan like no other.

When transitioning to working from home, it's common for people to feel disconnected and isolated from their team. During these times, it's important to focus on communication - not just to be in the loop of what's going on at work, but also just to have some human interaction! At @relydigital , we have daily standup meetings. During these meetings we share news, our top 3 goals for the day, and blockers. Every Friday, we do a wrap-up session to highlight the top wins of the week. Celebrating wins with the team, no matter how small, is a great morale booster! Congratulations on your one year anniversary with Rely Digital! How would you describe your past year’s experience with three words? Exciting, humbling, fun. It was like getting onto a rollercoaster that can’t be seen from the outside. Like, I knew what I was signing up for, but also not really. ... What do you like most about working in a Digital Marketing Agency? Working at an agency has been an eye-opening experience. Our clients span across a wide range of industries, and each business has its own set of nuisances. Learning how to work with their specific set of challenges keeps me feeling stimulated at work. What was your most memorable moment in your career in the past year? When we popped a mini bottle of champagne to celebrate our move to a bigger office because we were expanding our team! It made me feel like my work had made an impact, not just to our clients, but also to our team. See more
