1950’s laundromat advertisement that would have been placed on the inner lid of a top loading spin extractor When the spin extractor was not in use the lid would be sprung open showing that the machine was available for use and this advertisement would be showing. This robust advertisement was imbedded in Fiberglass so that it could withstand the spinning of clothes when the machine was in use. - What is a spin extractor? Back in the day a spin extractor was a separate mach...ine from a washer or dryer.
