So very excited to share a new song today, written for my wonderful husband Mike Card, of now 15 years! Writing a song for him was the best way I knew how to express just how much I am still head over heals in love with him. He truly is amazing. Special thanks to Jeff Black for the incredible guitar and bass pieces, and to Gerry Hawley for laying down spectacular drums. Also to Mike Mckyes at The Grove Productions for making this song come to life in studio, and adding his... own musical flair to come up with such a beautful mix. I couldn't have done it without you three! This song is for you babe. Love you so much!! https://soundcloud.com/user-969922751/till-i-married-you

Great day at The Grove Productions laying down vocal tracks for an upcoming song! Super excited about how it is coming together; the only thing left to do is harmonies!!

I was a part of the worship team this morning at River City Vineyard church in Sarnia, Ontario. On a world wide level - it's not that big of a deal. But when you see this group as your family, your safe place, your time in a week of chaos that you get to unwind and just be real - it's what "church" is...the quotations disappear. It's family time. It's honest. It's raw. It's completely beautiful. So honored to be a part of this church family.

Spending an afternoon writing and arranging some songs! The road to CD#2 is humbling and intimidating...I often question myself, my skills and abilities, and to be honest I get frustrated often. Some days it's easier to run away from the process than work on it. A struggle for me is never feeling good enough. That struggle overflows into music as well. I hear every flat note, every wrong chord played...I listen to other musicians who are so much more talented than I am and it...'s hard to not feel completely inadequate. But then...I can't picture my life without music...without singing, without playing, without writing...it's a part of who I am. Which reminds me that it's not about being THE best, it's about being MY best. To pursue it because I am passionate about it; because it brings me joy and purpose. Reminding myself today that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and while continual self improvement is a good thing, I am ok to just be me. I am enough. And so are you!! See more
