How to set healthy eating goals with less tendancy to fail - Often when you set goals around food you think of all the things you cannot have; okay I'll cut out sugar, limit my coffee, minimal carbs etc. These types of goals are coming from a restrictive mindset. We want to reverse that...... - Change those goals so that instead of taking something way you're adding something. You are way more likely to achieve a goal of it comes with an abundance mindset oppose to restricted or limited mindset. - Instead of "I'm going to eliminate pop to 2x per week" "I'm going increase my water intake to 2L per day" - "I'm cutting out bread for awhile" "I want to increase my vegetable serving to 3 times per day" - "No fast food for the next month" "I'm going to focus on meal planning & try new recipes this month" - Switch that mindset and you'll be more likely to succeed because you'll be thinking of the value your ADDING to your life instead of what you're going to be subtracting. - What's one goal your working on right now?? Be patient with yourself. - "The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit."... - So why do you expect this of yourself when it comes to your health goals/results? Easy to throw in the towel two weeks in because the scale isn't budging, your jeans are still snug and your still unhappy with the person trying so hard in the mirror. - GIVE YOURSELF TIME!! Trust the process and realize that just like a flower it takes consistent daily work to get the result.
