We have been receiving lots of messages asking when the market will be open. With covid19, and guidelines for operating safely set earlier this season, we unfortunately just didn't have the amount of volunteers or resources to proceed. The handful of local markets who are operating are compiled of a great comittee who are able to meet the guidelines needed and enforce them. Our market had one volunteer this season, who is also a vendor and the guidelines would not be feasibl...e to enforce by one person. Our vendor applications for the season were very low as covid19 no doubt was a reflect of that. Majority of our market vendors chose to operate this season at their own farm gates for their safety. I have been trying to keep up with posting on this page when possible and have continually asked vendors to contact the market so we can promote their businesses this season. You may need to have a scroll on the page. We ask you contact vendors directly as noted on each post to inquire or place orders. We know this is disappointing as our farmers market is a vital part of our community. We hope to be back in 2021 and thank everyone who continues to support our vendors during these times. Many of our past and current vendors are offering products through the the Ottawa Valley Food Coop as a way to reach customers during the pandemic ! You can head to the CoOp website and search for your favourite chocolate from Beth's Kitchen, or chocolate bars from I Like Chocolate and great items from some of our other vendors! please don't hesitate to message us if you are looking for anyone in specific. We were happy to help put you in touch with your vendor!
