Renovation Tip: Stop over-paying for paint! Many people think they have to pay top dollar for their paint to be of good quality and this just isn't the case! I've painted with just about every paint brand available and I always go back to Sico. At about 1/3 of the cost of Benjamin Moore Paint, it applies better, is tintable to any color and is available in all finishes interior and exterior. So don't be fooled by the marketing of Benjamin Moore-other brands can look just as good and keep more money in YOUR pocket!

Renovation Tip - if you're wanting to save some money while renovating your kitchen, keeping the same layout (if possible) and replacing cupboards, backsplash and flooring can save thousands of dollars that you may otherwise spend relocating plumbing and electrical to change the location of your appliances and fixtures within the space.

If you're looking to create a main floor laundry but don't have a traditional "laundry room", you can create one with just a little bit of extra space. Afterall, who wants to spend alot of time in the laundry room?? The front entrance/porch at our latest renovation is almost done! Metal rail system in white makes a huge difference and the addition of pot lights adds tons of light for safety.

Here's a "Before" and "After" of a recent bathroom update. Tiles, paint and flooring were updated, and a new vanity, mirror and light fixture was added.

The deck at our latest project is coming along...almost done an it's looking great!
