Natural finish on this old 1960 harwood refinish/feather in/patch job looks great but at this stage it looks better covered up with floor protection for other trades to come in.

1960's Hardwood floors being refinished with love. Removing some walls required feathering in new wood, sanding, selecting new stain (going ol natural), filling gaps with woodfiller, a fine sand then several coats of waterborne Bona Sealer and then protect the floor for finishing carpenter and other trades working in the area.

Now thats a saw...whats required to cut through your foundation wall to cut in a new window. Always fun starting a new project. Marking locations for a new bathroom plumbing rough in, new backwater valve to protect the house from sewage back up, mew pad footing location to move existing post. Confirming measurements with the engineer after work is completed. On to framing and roughins.

Lineal drain, kirde board shower walls, bench, pre sloped base and kirde strips installed. Finish waterproofing, install shower niche and onto tile. Its a process but making sure this shower does not leak is always important...especially when you refinished the main floor ceiling to a paint grade level 5 finish a few years ago.
