The World's First Frozen Margarita Machine! Was invented in Dallas, Texas in 1971 by Mariano Martinez - a Mexican American inventor, entrepreneur and restaurateur. He adapted a soft serve ice cream machine to making margaritas and dubbed it "The World’s First Frozen Margarita Machine". That machine is now in the collection of the National Museum of American History, part of the Smithsonian Institution.
