Dear Partner of Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park, In light of the recent announcement by Premier Doug Ford that provincial parks and nature reserves will be opening for limited day use this week, I would like to take this opportunity to remind our partners that Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park remain closed until at least May 31. We know that many people will be anxious to get out and enjoy some time in nat...ure this weekend, and we also know that many visitors don’t make a distinction between provincial and national parks. To minimize confusion and disappointment, and in the interests of keeping our employees, visitors and the community safe, we are asking our partners to please help to spread the word about the on-going closures through your networks. We are working on plans for a phased approach to reopen our parks when it is safe to do so, and in collaboration with local and regional partners.
