Dear Customers, We are implementing some additional social distancing changes at Renzullo Food Market. Beginning on Monday, March 23rd, we are limiting the number of customers in the store from 10 to 5 at any one time. Due to the limited space in some of our aisles, we were finding that having 10 customers in the store did not allow for the required social distancing. ... By limiting our customers to 5 at a time, we will be better positioned to follow the ever so important regulations; while serving you quicker. In addition, we will be closing on Sundays effective March 29th. We will remain open Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Thank you for your patience as we work through this challenging time. This will allow us to better serve our customers by giving us time to stock shelves and to clean and sanitize the store. ... In addition, we have removed all indoor seating and are only offering take away coffee beverages. This will reduce the number of customers in the store at any one time. Thank you and stay safe!

Barber shop story highlights neighbourhood Re: East Van classic is a cut above the rest, July 27 Thank you, John Mackie, for the Barber Shop story.... I live in East Vancouver and it felt like reading about old friends. I don’t know these people, but I have neighbours like them and I shop at Renzullo on Nanaimo, which is run by a young couple who have this same character. No kid leaves the store without a free treat (they discreetly ask the parents) and you need time in your day to go there because Franco and Morella talk to you like you’re old friends, even if you’re not. Strangers can be impatient standing in line waiting but once it’s their turn to pay, they’re as charmed as the rest of us. It was great to see our ’hood featured in such a wonderfully told story. It was our honor to have the legendary Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini for lunch at Renzullo Food Market today. He was accompanied by a great local talented film director Jesse James Miller and his partner big bad Ken. What a wonderful pleasure it was for our family and customers to have met such a charismatic and warm hearted Champion.
