This auction is to raise money for Leland Ward of DW Geckos and Terreria and his fiancé Brittany. 100% proceeds will be donated to them. Leland Ward, owner and entrepreneur of D.W Geckos@Terraria LLC. is currently in ICU in Columbus, Ohio. On April 23, 2020, Leland was found by his fiancé, Brittany, after collapsing from a seizure. Initially, his CT scan showed an unknown mass and brain swelling. After several blood tests, CT's, MRI's, a spinal tap, a brain biopsy, and a part...ial craniotomy his medical team still does not have a diagnosis and can't begin proper treatment. The mass tissue samples have been sent to pathology. Unfortunately, the results take time and waiting is very hard for Leland and all us of love and know him. Sadly, due to COVID-19, Brittany and Leland's family are not allowed to visit with him. This makes it even harder for all of us. Leland has a strong, driven desire to achieve a successful business. He takes such pride with every enclosure he makes for the reptile community. His personal collection of exotic geckos has been his passion of his since the age of ten. After his work day is complete he comes home to Brittany and their four dogs, Kato, Bella, Lexi, and Skor and looks forward to sitting on their porch or watching a good movie. Yet in true Leland style, even on the most relaxing nights, he is always talking of his 5 year plan to Brittany and is constantly focused on their future. Leland's will, strength and determination in all avenues of his life could not be more critical then right now.
