Rescue Story

We're excited to release our newest project. Part of our goal with Rescue Story is to speak into the difficulties that many people are facing dealing with depression and mental health. Meet AJ: Hey, my name is A.J. (some people call me Alex). I am the technician for Rescue Story. I listen to all kinds of music, there is no one genre that I listen to exclusively. One minute I will be listening to bluegrass and the next song could be something completely different, such as modern electronica or hard rock. It is next to impossible to catch me either not listening to music, humming a melody, or patting a rhythm on my knees. As the Technician for Rescue Story I am not usually seen on stage, but rather behind the scenes. I may not be playing music, but I work hard to make music happen and make our music heard. Worship allows me to feel like all the work I put in behind the scenes really pays off, and makes it all worth while.

Meet Jess: Hey! I’m Jess. I’ve been a vocalist for just over 10 years, and have now been singing with Rescue Story for just over a year. Voice is my instrument and my passion! I am an auntie to two nieces and one nephew and I love spending time with my family. Golfing, running and a good cup of coffee are just a few of my favorite things. I worship to align my heart with the Holy Spirit. I love how God reveals his beautiful, loving and councilling heart to me through scripture and song. I am thankful for the gifts that God has given me to joyfully lead others in worship!

Meet Kaleb: Hi I’m Kaleb! I play the piano and sing for rescue story. I like music, motorcycles, books, and a good story whether it be from a book or a movie. I believe worship to be a lifestyle choice in which the Triune God is honoured day to day, which is not always easy, but meaningfully worth it!

Meet Jeff: I’m Jeff Neufeld, I lead worship and produce music for Rescue Story. I also work with Island Breeze Manitoba and Steinbach Bible College in various musical capacities. I enjoy gardening, video games and good movies. I lead worship because God has put it in on my heart to share my love of music with others. When we use our God given gifting and live in the fullness of who He has created us to be, we show that He is an amazing God and is WORTH our time, attention, and praise.
