Always happy to give a second opinion. We enjoy taking the time to find the answer to your questions. Like "Why did my Mac Air stop working?". Here is a 2013 Mac Air that was looked at by Apple service. They told the customer it was "water damaged" and would take $700+ dollars to fix (we fixed it for 80$ :p ). Funny story... Apple never actually took the time to open the laptop. None of the laptop water sensors were tripped. In fact, it was one of the cleanest Mac Air motherboards we have seen in a while. It takes 30 seconds... By the way we "fixed" the laptop by... get this RECONNECTING THE CLIENTS BATTERY CABLE. True story :) That is why we are the place Mac users go to rescue their technology. #shoplocalyqr #macrepair

Which is most popular in Canada, Mac or PC? With all the Macs I see people carrying one would think that Mac is the "mac daddy" however the data says otherwise. Statscounter, which is used by websites to track data sees 76% of desktop and laptop users visting their website's on Windows OS, not Apple. Interesting. Looks like Bill Gate's rules on for webs traffic and desktop use... https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-sh/desktop/worldwide/

Remember - Microsoft does not send out emails notifying you of software updates. Even if they did, you should know by now that you shouldn't install anything someone sends you by email. If you receive an email from someone claiming to be from Microsoft its most likely a scam. Feel free to give us and can talk about how to update your computer the right way. We posted this last year, and people are still falling for online support scams. How the scam works is someone claiming to be from Microsoft or Apple initiates contact via phone, email, text message or a website popup. They then proceed to tell you that something is wrong with your computer, and that they require access to check it out. Once in they can lock you out of your computer, steal your personal information, gain your credit card number and try to access your bank ...account information. Technical Support scammers can be very convincing. Whatever they tell you it is important to never give anyone remote access to your computer unless you are 100% certain of who they are. If you think you have been contacted by a Technical Support scammer, or have fallen for their tricks, feel free to contact us. We can tell you what steps to take to protect yourself going forward. Remember - Microsoft and Apple will never cold call to provide computer support, or to check out your computer. Till next time... #StaySafe #localstrong
